MS Office Question

I've been out of the MS office game for a long time.  I think the office on my Mac is 2008.  I'm getting confused by looking at all the different types of version they have.  I'm looking for the basic Word, Excel, Powerpoint version that only I need and not anyone else.  Are there non-subscription versions?  Any help with the specific name of this version thanks

Hi @Ryan Moore,

If you get office 365, it will allow you to access online versions of all the programs as well as download to a single computer. It runs around $80. The other advantage is you can access it all form your phone or tablet and send it all to one location.

In reality it is cheaper to use a subscription of $80 a year vs the $500 it use to be. At least this way it is always updated. You get a subscription card at your local Wal-mart/Bestbuy etc. I don't even think they sell the full versions anymore. But if they do it will be a whole lot more without the ability to synch everything to one place.

Good luck
