Here is the sequence.1) The house is a shortsale, so the house needs to be listed (per bank's instruction).2) The listing agent accepted wholesaler's offer, waiting for the bank to approved.3) The listing agent never bothered to change the status on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to "Under Contract", so it still says Active.4) Shortsale approved at a great price (say $40,000) .
