Having said that, I graduated with A piece of paper that says I graduatedA huge network of alumni who are all in the same business as I am (architects, GC's, subs, developers, suppliers, etc)A technical knowledge of the business (Enough to keep me out of trouble, and to know when to consult an attorney, engineer, architect, or more often than not, a veteran tradesman)The network I developed is worth ten-fold the cost of the degree.

The only exceptions I believe are careers where a degree is legally required to hold a certification (i.e. medical doctor, lawyer, teacher, licensed architect for commercial projects, engineer, etc).Start earning money, not going into debt.
