In this case, they either have to make money elsewhere (hoping you have an old property that needs a lot of repairs) or they are going out of business. 

And their return policy is simple, they want your business!!

I've seen several that have rental restrictions, so you may run into this when looking at the single-family product.  

So they’ve spent thousands before even buying their first property, or learning anything valuable, and are actually less informed about the biz than before they met said guru because he’s giving them bad info to sell his own products through his side businesses.
