A lot of parts are very oil-driven so the "attractive" assets you see today can suffer from dramatic swings in valuation.

We also like the employment picture- Hueytown isn’t far from the Mercedes Benz plant in Vance, and just down the road from Bessemer, which has the new Amazon fulfillment center- both bringing in relatively well-paying jobs, economic activity, and rental demand.

I think it was a mistake for the bank to list it as high as the other properties for sale as this house has sat vacant since January with no climate control and it has suffered.
