Heat from gas and oil are usually more difficult and expensive to separate, but we done those also.But even in the areas where water is supplied from a private co. and not lienable, the cost of separation is sometimes high.

(Luckily I always put “oil tank” as one of the inspection contingencies on my offer!)

And finally, me, the member of both LLCs and the front person working with tenants, I do not need a realtor's / brokers license.Lots of learning upfront but my goal is to have a well oiled machine.

Today I had an underground oil tank removed at 1 of my rehab projects in jersey city.

I have some basic ideas of what I would like in mine, underground oil tanker scan, septic tank check, setback measurement, etc.

When I converted a property from oil heat and hot water to gas, I asked the gas company about whether tankless would be a possibility.

We had a tankless on the oil furnace and I was always running out of hot water.

i live in oil country, and when the boom busted, i ended up in a better paying job then i was making in the oil service company that i was a mechanic for, but the properties realy havent dropped in price yet, though i did find some excellent priced land, 50% off everywhere else around here.  

I am not an electrician, but was able to navigate the swap from oil hot water boiler to electric baseboard heat. hopefully you find this helpful and relevant.
