I'm an interior designer and if I had an island I would absolutely look at a different color than the rest of the cabinets.

My current real estate interests including investing, flipping, and interior design - however I am eager to explore all that the industry has to offer.

@Karen S. for interior work you can (in my area) "encapsulate" the lead paint with oil based primer.For the exterior you will need a certified lead based painter who will follow the rules.

I've connected with a Seller who has a traditional 3/2 ranch style home that is structurally fine, but is in need of total interior renovation.

While that's a pretty good deal for the area, especially for 2 family (JC Heights is blazing hot),  the condition of the interior is it rough shape.

New kitchen and bathrooms, new floors through-out, installed a central AC unit, updated electrical and plumbing, new landscaping, pool had to be resrufaced, new garage door, new windows all around, new doors, landscaping, new wider driveway, exterior/interior paint, painted the garage floor and concrete in the backyard and new appliances.My current deal is very similar.

I would also be willing to hire a contractor to just do the framing, and I can get the interior stuff done, like floors, and tile drywall etc.
