What are people's opinions on purchasing historic homes?

I have 30+ years of historical data in the form of leases, maintenance records, capital expenses, etc.

In my market, there is a lot of inventory of historical manors from the 17th century and up (example).

That house has given us an opportunity to get some rehab experience and we have started building relationships with a really good electrician and a couple of other handyman types.From what I have seen on BP I should be looking to get involved with a local REI club to start building relationships but I have not been able to find anything around here.Hoping someone with local knowledge on BP can steer me in the right direction for attending some central california meet ups.My goal to build a stable quality REI business over the next few years and eventually transition into this full time.Glad to 'meet' everyone and I promise to stop lurking and get more involved on the BP site.

Depends on a lot of things- your likeability and ability to forge relationships, how good the deal is, how much money you can put in, etc.

I am simply looking to build relationships with like-minded individuals in Springfield, Misssouri and the surrounding areas.

Can anyone clarify the relationships of these three lending institutions.

You can take a line of credit at a really historically low rate and put it into another project, that will return even more.
