@Carol Venolia I know my point is this is a national or international forum and I don't think many people other than those directly affected understood the magnitude of loss and destruction to a community... it wiped out whole towns..

I am by far no expert on legal issues, especially involving discrimination cases; I feel any discrimination against any so-called "classes" of people should be unconstitutional and violates fundamental principles that formed our nation from the get-go.

Appraisals were from large national banks (WF and Citi) they tend to be more conservative and don't know the Market as well...I think you should try hitting up local banks/credit unions they would probably be more aggressive on the refi.
