@Rick BassettSounds like you need to see the voucher itself - It will tell you the voucher size, case worker, the maximum rent allowance, utility allowance, tenant portion and S8 portion of the rent.

Hi Meg, Two suggestions -- don't give up on voucher tenants as each inspector is different and if you get someone who says paint the attic -- call the inspection department and ask what's going on.

They don't have to pay for it, so they don't care.They can leave your rental without giving notice because Section 8 will grant them a voucher for a new place for the next month regardless whether they gave notice or not.I would think long and hard before embarking on this.
