My approach is:Carpet only (low profile) on the stairs, primarily for ease of installation and safety of residents,Leave Linoleum in place in kitchen and bathrooms since it is in good condition without teas or peel off,LVP in the rest of the house (bedrooms, hallways, living room, dining room, family room, totaling about 1,600 sq ft) for its semi waterproof qualities.

Many more examples, like logging the trees on a property and selling the wood like @Jay Hinrichs used to do, or breaking up the lot into parcels and selling them off like he currently does ... any other examples, Jay?

Add lattice to keep critters from getting under pier and beam house snd causing damage, prune trees off roof....both we were planning on doing but insurance forced it to the top if the list.
