They don't have a team of people that scrub the internet trying to discourage it.

I basically group the business into 2 segments, administrative tasks (pricing, marketing, guest communications) and field tasks (cleaning/maintenance).Part of being a successful operator of anything, you have to know your strengths and weaknesses. 

I would not trust random people on the internet  LOLmy guess though is you do.. their might be a few states were you don't need a license but not many if any is my thought on it.  

decide to go pro if that is what you want and make sure you are doing daily tasks that a pro agent does, this is a sales position and talking to people is how you get the sale.
