Question for PM's, Self Managers

Good morning!

I had a bit of realization yesterday and want to test the temperature, mainly for self managers and smaller PM's.  I basically group the business into 2 segments, administrative tasks (pricing, marketing, guest communications) and field tasks (cleaning/maintenance).

Part of being a successful operator of anything, you have to know your strengths and weaknesses.  My strength admittedly is on the administrative tasks.

For those who are opposite of me, who struggle with the administrative side, would you consider a B2B relationship with a service that takes all of the tasks off of your hands, and if so what would you be willing to pay (% or flat fee).

To be clear, what would be offered would be:

- Listing on 15+ channels including Marriott Homes and Villas, Abnb, VRBO/, Booking.com, Zillow, coming soon Amex Travel and Hyatt, Jetblue and Allegiant Airlines, and more.

- Pricing software w/ live revenue manager

- Smart Lock software

- 24/7 Guest Communication via platform, voice, text, email.

- 24/7 Communication with owner or PM staff for maintenance or cleaning issues.  This could also be support for calling out preferred vendors for particular issues.

- Owner Portal and client tools

- Potentially more, will be having a call to see software limitations.

The idea is to free PM's and self managers to focus on growth and field quality.  Just a thought but I think this could be valuable to the right people.

Hey @Andrew Steffens, well for me it wouldn't be something I would look at.

A remote manager of tasks is find in some areas, but where we are is quite rural and tribal knowledge is most important.

I know exactly who to call and for what. There aren't many choices out as far from town we are.

For sure, it definitely is not for everyone.  To be honest its mostly not for self managers (though I am open to it) - the target is mostly for small PM's looking for help to scale.  When you are a PM starting out you start to make money around 10 properties but then you need to hire and you are back to making nothing, then you grow to maybe 20, make money, hire and then back to making nothing.  This could help them remain profitable while scaling.
