Often we need to be reminded we’re not running a charity but a business and if we can’t treat our property like a business we either need to sell it or hire someone else to run it.

More importantly why don’t you send money to TripAdvisor, Fairbnb, or booking.com?  

The land is in a very non-desirable area pretty much in the middle of no where so I would assume the cost of the land is low but don’t know how the ROI would be after you had the infrastructure up and running.

Check CA laws, you don't want to run into issues of being unresponsive to repair needs. 

You can be proud of what you have achieved in a short amount of time, this is really impressive!

My recommendation would be to start finding deals and working local REI meetups to see who you can run into. 

One of my properties (Wolf Run) was supposed to be at a 6.02% rate.

If so you should be able to cancel but if you are doing it out of the inspection period you are stuck and could run the risk of losing your earnest money if you put any down.
