He was very successful and wealthy before he started making videos and created a course.Does his course teach you to build a successful business or work hard at a W-2, earn a boatload of money, and then learn for free through a mentor like he did?

Most deals I work, I find that the most inexperienced party in a real estate transaction will end up losing 4-10% of the value of the home in the transaction because they don't know what they are doing. 

They’re requesting what feels like an unreasonable amount of information, and the demands keep escalating.So far, they’ve asked for:A video tour of my home officeCredit checks on me and my partnerCopies of the deeds for every property we ownA copy of my partner’s home lease and utility billsBusiness phone billsA signed letter from the bank verifying our accountsBank statementsHonestly, it feels more like qualifying for a loan than trying to become a customer.

the company is Tax Auction Investors and seminar solutions...i think from my research on videos etc that was or is thecompany they started as thier education company 

I'm new to real estate investing, but have thrown myself into learning as much as I can by joining a Veteran based investment community, have been working with my realtor and looking daily for potential multi family properties in the Dallas area for house hacking, which I've set myself an deadline to be completed by May.

If you hire someone typically they are the ones providing this information, but if someone is paying you, then yes they need this information for tax purposes.BTW - I would say your SS# has been hacked so many times and is on the black market already this is why we monitor ours through other parties or just lock it down at experian and other agencies if you are concerned about it.

For example how do you identify with confidence that your market attracts more professionals vs. families vs. bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. and therefore how you'd know which amenities to offer?

We both live in MI and my current plan is to invest in single- and multi-family in solid, path-of-progress neighborhoods in metro Detroit, and also get some larger SFH's in the more expensive market where we live and do rent-by-the-room/co-living.
