I'm bias, as I'm from the west side of Chicago myself. 

Motivated sellers don't care about your background, your finances, your gender, race, religion, sexuality, or anything else of a personal nature.

Though I'm biased as I am a total buy-and-hold-type investor. 

In the Marine Corps they have saying that they have a "bias toward action".

We as owners need to take a stand against this bias of large and supposed"restricted" dogs..... with insurance companies....

Interesting how this thread (Reminds me about trump's REI strategy a week or two ago) started of with a rant, then bad brokers, then professionalism, progressing to public spaces, another rant, commercial real estate 101 and finally a lesson in gender studies.Stay classy BP.

This is definitely a slower and cheaper route, but also not the most structured way of learning or building a truly systems dependent business in my opinion.Obviously, since I am the owner of the company my opinion is biased.

I too tend to think about investing in terms of pure numbers without any regard for my own cognitive biases.

Although I have a biased opinion, as does a non-agent, let me assure those in doubt that it's much more than filing out a couple of forms, especially on the listing side. 

First things first - 50 K is good money to do lot of things , These "things" might not be just exactly buying a house , but you should try to know what is the best use for that 50k which will give you a reasonable return /break even / slight loss - but the most important thing is , After that project you should gain some practical knowledge abt investing in US Another important thing that I learnt - never take anything that anyone say here as an absolute thing. we all have our blind spots and biases .
