Out of the applications I processed, they almost all fabricated past landlord info which is so easy to spot.

Most fabricators that work with stone also work with solid surface.If you are asking about the color choice, well that is going to be a very nuanced question.  

I'm not saying this is what the OP is doing, I'm pointing out that some will reverse roles attempting to get information because they feel if they didn't approach the matter in that way they may not get the information.An example that I had, without all the issues, it was a guy who wanted to "borrow" from his grandmother with a fabricated story of going into business and he also wanted to know how a default would operate and the consequences.

Example, I've had  a few medical procedures the last couple years, and they usually give patients these strange socks to  wear that have little rubber nubs imbedded in the fabric to improve traction, and the colors are not my favorite.
