Did you encounter any issues with property management, tenants, or agents?

You will encounter many legal questions as a landlord.

I have done several Delayed Financing deals and I never encountered a higher interest rate. 

I would say avoid whatever scam this is, but I don't even see contact information on their site. 

This guy, Leland von Syring of Charter Financial claims to have been around since 1997 with his company in the note business, and to me it doesn't seem to be a scam or anything.

Because it takes repetition for people to remember things and you have to be top-of-mind when they encounter a potential client for you!

There’s a 9o% chance the judge will be in the tenants side and a 100% chance the landlord won’t get away with scamming the friend in front of a judge. 

However, I've encountered a setback as my initial lender has withdrawn (100%LTV), necessitating the search for alternative financing.

@Johnathon Thompson you need to build a trustworthy local team, which is NOT as easy you everyone thinks.As soon as many PMC's, agents, contractors, etc. hear an owner is OOS, they take the path of least resistance (at best) or look to scam the owner.So, an owner must ask a LOT of questions and do their due diligence and even if they find someone, apply "trust, but verify":)
