If you're working on other projects during that time, it could create an issue, as it would for any employer.Why not be upfront with your boss and let them know you're planning to get your real estate license?

Hello everyone,I’m currently in the planning phase for a development project just outside of Santa Fe, NM.

While the market has been up for quite some time now, I was just waiting for the next news story that made everyone freak out.I've actually been working with CamaPlan on this project and the experience has been great!

You can learn just about anything you need to complete a small project off YouTube and with the right tools.  

The seller is out of state and even visited the project a few times to check on the progress which I think helped him feel good about the whole deal as well. technology made the whole process a lot easier in the interim.

@Matthew Brown, I am not in this investment, but I would love to hear what drew you to it in the first place: how you heard of Fairway America, why you ultimately chose to invest with them and in this project?

I think in that manner, you get some pretty cool people moving in and less "black rock, mega corp" style development projects.

How hard or easy is to get zoning approval for a new assisted living or senior housing project? 

On one project we did we proposed 36 highway accesses and were denied as been excessive. 

A report from Apartments.com shows that 178,000 newly constructed units entered the market in Q3, bringing the projected year-end total to 636,000 units.
