Owning these remotely would especially be difficult, between tenant turnover, the frequency of vacancy and squatters in the area, and the continuing heroin epidemic there (hence why the forfiture rate was as high as it was anyway).That being said, Shift Capital is already in the area investing millions in mixed industrual/commercial/art spaces, and allegedly owns over 150 residential parcels in their portfolio... so they would be the ones to talk to regarding remote property management.

There are no eviction-worthy offenses (as far as I know - more on this later) and she has told me that she will never voluntarily move out under any circumstances.4) The tenant is allegedly handicapped although I am doubtful whether she has any documentation to that affect. 5) Besides the aforementioned concerns, I am also concerned about legal liability over the same concerns.

So I get a call from the Animal Police stating that my tenant is feeding stray cats and the neighbors are complaining about all the cats who are allegedly doing damage to the neighbors property and the neighbors can possibly file a lawsuit against me for damages done by these stray cats.
