I do pick my brain for Charity  if they want to donate to our charity aheroshome.org then I give them my personal time ..

As the new owner of the property (same day the current lease ends), do I need to track down those tenants to sign something that I'll 'buy' the stuff they left behind for $1, so I can donate/dispose of their items soon? 

They are using one of the units as their office.I have read that you can’t donate a unit.

If she truly had no relatives or friends, I suppose you could donate it or dump it and nobody would ever care.

@Jay HinrichsBTW, guru Jay agrees that it is good time to sell my 4plex in Las Vegas.Terryone of my partners from Honolulu bought 2 or 3 4 plexs's in 2011 that were half destroyed and vacant for about 100k each.. then put 100k into them. and he is selling now also.. for a nice gain.. they were management nightmares though for him so he wants to sell them.. he did though donate them to his charitable foundation.. so not every one is in the financial position he is in.. he also bought about 6 SFRs at the time and killed it in Vegas with those.. 

Can I take possession of the cars and resell/donate for tax write-off?

Later you can live in this property yourself, keep it vacant, keep it as a rental, sell it, donate it etc.

Exactly or in better school and more affluent areas parents donate time and money even to public schools  you don't see much of that in lower economic strata areas..

We wouldn’t necessarily be looking for donations or anything, and really don’t want to put it in a nonprofit, but what would liability be in this case?
