In my own case, I would have nowhere near the real estate holdings if it weren't for my professional real estate helpers.

He usually does it on his own so it is really a one person job so having a helper is not required.

Perhaps hire a helper who has some roofing experience if you don’t have any, pull the permit as the home owner (possible most places, check with you AHJ and know that you obviously won’t have a warranty on the workmanship), rent/borrow a ladder/lift, dumpster, roofing gun, and get’er done.
