I was in highschool as the market was going up and back then I probably had no idea what any of this meant so I am a little uneducated on the subjerct.

Jerry Woods When they say owners, I thought they meant like homeowners who lived in the house.

When I said "experienced" ones, I meant they probably know the laws much better than me and are trying to use the loopholes to take advantage of new investors like me.

Anytime you use either term, or if someone uses these terms with you, you should clarify exactly what's meant.

I don't know if I would say have two LLC's one for property management and one for ownership of the assets subsidiaries, if that is what you meant.

It sound as if you meant this was not being serviced by Bank of America Mortgage Servicing.
