Hell, people easily spend 2-3 times that on a semester of college and learn a lot less.

I graduated college a few years ago and I am a CPA by trade, but I plan on pursuing some real estate investing (probably via buy-and-hold/rental property at least to start) in the near future.

I saved a bundle because previous landlord had a cable box in each BR and living room so you can imagine it added up.The reason I gave them the option was because I was happy w my tenants if they were knucklehead College Students I wouldn’t have given them the options and just do what I want.

Is it worth thinking about or do we all stick to nothing but Brady and Farwell /east side, renting around the college, River West, bay view, brewers Hill, Walkers point, and follow the herd?

Right now I am looking at a 4plex in a college town, the price is right but it is about 50-60 minutes away. 240k, rent 610/each — would I be stretching myself too thin?
