The culture of the community will simply relocate and life continues as usual.Investors take advantage of financial opportunities, sappy do-gooders work for non-profit NGOs. 

Some will buy a house wherever they relocated to, then convert to rental when they reassigned.

Property values go up when drug dealers relocate.

I have since relocated from Manhattan, tested for and received my master plumber’s license here in the city of Newburgh as well as the five boroughs along with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and I have thrown down my roots firmly and permanently in Newburgh.

I keep or relocate good people.

But I'm staying away from flipping Up north in the Hudson valley everywhere I look I see people from manhattan/Brooklyn/queens buying second homes or relocating entirely.

That and no hot water caused my tenants to relocate to a hotel.  

If you need to re-rent the property you could relocate them to the basement or garage of the property as well. 

I just separated from the United States Navy and relocated back home to the Northern Jersey area about 15-20mins.

I'm hoping it's the fact that it's mid winter and most tenants probably aren't looking to re-locate at this time.
