Try to negotiate in an extension now, say 1 one year extension allowed with a $1000 payment to be applied to the principal balance.- If it's a rental property, most lenders will only lend 75% LTV, so if you're putting down roughly 5% now, you'll have to bring 20% to the closing table to refi (assuming no appreciation in the next 2 years).- 6% interest is somewhat high.

With the CDC extension of the eviction moratorium until June, it seems their only interest is protecting the banks.

Many of them even have connections with the county and can secure time extensions while the property is being fixed up.

I've checked out Anderson and some other well known ones, but their $19k fee is more than my yearly cashflow ;) So my main question is, what are the options for rookie investors like me (who do not have an extensive portfolio yet) to get advise?
