I think that's completely understandable, as I don't see the need to waste both their money and their time (my leasing guy recently brought a paid applicant to me with an unsatisfactory credit report, who I auto-denied after they paid for the application.

The last auto debit payment to Anchor Loans was never forward to Cohen Financial, so Cohen charged me a $411 late fee and demanded payment of the missing month!

Also, make sure you issue a notice of non-renewal to her, if the lease requires that (many leases have auto renewal clauses unless notice is given).
