I'm not sure that a block deal for 9 homes is such a great deal when, even if Zillow is slightly low at average of $165,000 per (and it may be high), it sounds like you're basically a roof and a heat system replacement away per unit from full retail, and then you're saying the owner basically wants as-is but gets near top dollar for each one. 

I rented a house to an unmarried couple on a month to month lease (both signed)  The woman passed away and there was heated dispute between the man and the womans daughter over belongings.

The heat and moisture that accumulate up there have already begun taking their toll on the paneling and I want to replace the whole ceiling with drywall.Since the roof slopes over the sink and oven, I was planning to use blue board there for the moisture and fire resistance.

The apartment building I currently live in and pay rent in includes free water and heat delivered through radiators/furnace.

I prefer window units over central ac units because of the cost( you can purchase a 17000 btu unit heating and cooling for $1000) and less issues on repairs.

The 2 unit is hot water heat, I pay that bill.
