Hello Elsa,I have flipped over 50 properties, and 1 of the inspectors I was using told me an intersting story when lead based paint started being a problem in 80's. 

It's just branches, only $5 over here in AZ.....The fine will be more....I think you're tripping  over dollars to save pennies.....

Or would you recommend paying off my home first and then saving for the rental after my primary home is paid off?

And while you are out doing door hanger, you can scout out vacant properties, and start your investing career with a wholesale.If you want to be an investor, I would get my real estate license.Hope this helps.

@Anna DoumkinaIt’s going to be very challenging getting a lender to do one property with that low of a down payment - so start with 1 before trying to buy 5-10Section 8 properties also have a lot more maintenance so you will want to make sure to have adequate reserves as well
