Yes it is a scam.

  ( not saying this is a scam) but the ones I talked to that wanted the 500.00 after interviewing them for turn key reviews I could tell they were not all that.

All they do is raise the tax rate so that the numbers come out to that 10.2 mil number.Its definitely a scam here in Illinois.

There are plenty of real estate software/education scams out there so I felt like this was a very valid concern.

They are banking on someone out of state sending them deposit money only to find out it was a scam when they show up to move in.

We lost so much money so decided to step back and seems like company is a bit of a scam.

I have had problems with contractors also...specifically, when I had a reputable plumbing company do some work in my home and a defective pipe fitting failed...the contractor that I hired to do the reframing and remodeling tried to get me to join him in a scheme to scam the plumbing company out of money during the water damage repairs.    

No scam artists.

My lack of real estate knowledge ( growing everyday), a scam contractor, lots of repairs that take longer than a few days to fix, late paying renters etc.
