I was thinking that I could buy 2 acres, subdivide it into 2 lots an acre, and lease the lots for 350 per month for someone to move a mobile home or RV onto.

What Randy said, and I would also call your state department of insurance or whatever agency regulates title companies, tell them the problem, and ask for assistance in getting your taxes paid.

I also include in my lease no outdoor storage sheds, boxes, mobile homes, non-working vehicles, etc. on the property.

So even though those are nice numbers, they are not realistic to what HUD pays out, only a maximum amount.I use the MLS, or a local agency that places rental tenants, and I use them to place tenants for me, because in case you have been under a rock, prospective tenants have a LOT more rights and the process to screen is crazier than ever, I outsource it, AND the liability.

The option is for $88K, so if it gets refinanced, I'll make over $10k AND my option is for the pay off amount on the owner’s loan at the time the option is exercised, so this is still a profitable deal, but I learned a lot from it.On a different note, I have decided to start using the option payments I get from the buyers to create Lonnie Deals with mobile homes.
