Do you own other property that you might use as cross-collateral for rehab funds?

I am worried though that should the buyer eventually have an issue with it clogging again, whether it be a day after the close or a decade after, they may come at me to have it fixed.These buyers are on the border of being irrational with the requests they have made and it would'nt surprise me in the least if they'd try squeezing me again...not just for the drain but for any other issues.

Find some agent that does not do residential and you can cross refer.

I don't know about anyone else but I always go to the auction with a "line in the sand" that I won't cross.

@Gillespie Ideally I'd like to pay cash, and if I'm able to get a decent job out of school (cross fingers) I'll probably end up doing just that.
