Another area will be looking into is getting building approved for student housing for university that is close by and also speaking with hospital and see about offering housing for visiting nurses as is a stones throw from hospital too.

@Jovan Nurse My suggestion is to start brokering deals that you can almost do yourself.

I recall when I was a child (now 38), my mother always said "acquiring land/properties will be harder every day and a smart move is to buy today. 

My mother put the deed to our family home in a Trust Transfer Deed in 2003 for my two siblings and I. 

House was being sold by husband and wife who's elderly mother who lived in it passed away.

If their reference confirms, then you may be speaking with their mother!

We just took the top unit of the duplex off airbnb completely and had it rented to the first nurse that looked at it for exactly what we wanted to get for rent even in the middle of winter.
