I have 8 properties and 31 doors a W-2 and several other investments and my long term accountant charged me $1600 this past year.

They say we will be better off working through them, with the developers they have approached.Are we better assembling ourselves and working with a developer(s), rather than going through this middle man?

I’ll want to rent it out to other people and possibly add an ADU and do other renovations is this risky with the deed still in her name? 

This is more person and human friendly and good for newer investors who want to build locally.

I think this is a more challenging question than it seems.

@John Kelly you definitely don't want to move this into an LLC and jeopardize your tax status.
