Got a 2 bed 1 bath property in California that has a AC unit in the living room and a wall heater (older home).

It's also a fun place to live (says the guy who lives in Houston). 

Basically, is property 2 income worth doubling down and keeping  We currently own two rental properties (details below) and are ourselves renting a place to live in ($2350/month).

I live in MN but am relocating to TX and considering keeping my property as my first rental.

I lived in Indy then moved back to the Bay Area (long story) so I knew the area, much more now down to a detailed level now.

If you were to self-manage one property like this like a hawk then slowly add another and another, ideally down the street from where you live, doing all the maintenance and repairs yourself in order to avoid losing money, then that could make sense. 

You pay them 10% (of nightly rate plus any additional cleaning or pet fees) to basically manage your listing and your calendar.
