I not only joined this site for the knowledge, but in hopes to find a community of like minded people that are interested in helping others to grow.

Well, regardless of experience, people are going to assume younger people are not as qualified, skilled or yes, even experienced (haha, I know it is goofy!).

My plan is to allow my portfolio to compound, and then after college pill up some money and start investing in real-estate.

Wasn't sure what to expect posting this thread and real glad to see people dropping their input. 

I work with people to sponsor deals with them through syndications (and even JV's at times) and have a Multifamily Accelerator (link above) to teach and work with people on their deals.

I dont think these things are hard and fast.. to me look at whats left after the rent is paid is it enough to really live on.So if rent is 5k a month for instance that means tenant needs 15k a month in income pretty standard .. well that tenant now has 10k a month to live on.. most people can make due on that.so if this tenant came to me and only made 10k a month  2X the rent I know they have another 5k a month to live on so sure that works.where this is important is in lower income low rent areas were rent is say 800 a month and 3X is 2400 minus rent leaves 1600 a month for EVERY thing else can you live on 1600 a month ???

Hi All,I am planning to invest in a house where rent vs own ratio as below:Rent 16% & Own 84%Is this a bad thing that there is only 16% of the people renting or is this a good thing as there is less people who rent so quality of tenant will be high ?

Now I see lot of people ( many on youtube) are suggesting that housing market is progressing towards a recession/ correction/crash and prices are going to fall soon.

These forums are a great place to learn and meet people, whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned investor.

But asking experienced people to set up an interview with you is unlikely to bear fruit.
