I'd explain the situation to give them a heads-up in their community policing, especially in this time of coronavirus.

OUR lease at the apartments we've been living in isn't up until June 23rd, so we're ONLY in a hurry because FHA requires us to be.I see on here that evictions have been suspended at least through April.What we're seeking advice on is- should we get in touch proactively with our lender and see if they can suspend our move-in requirement until the pandemic has settled down, so as not to displace our tenants amidst society screeching to a halt?

I would do a m2m lease with inherited tenants until I got to know them so that you don't get stuck with a potential problem-- especially now with this coronavirus impacting your ability to evict in many jurisdictions.  

With its percentage of bookings the last few years, I thought they would never become LTR units again.I suspect we are in a decent position to handle the impacts of the pandemic to both our STR and LTR units. 

With the pandemic going on I know there are no evictions happening with the courts.

My real estate agent told me that banks aren't doing rehab loans right now because of the coronavirus market situation.

I understand that this is a health pandemic and we have to follow the rules.

I have not fact checked but heard 25% of the jobs created since the pandemic were in Texas.
