I have been a big fan of personal finance podcasts and forums, after mention of REI on many episodes/posts I have realized that although initially intimidating REI is something I would like to get into long term.

I'd be happy to sell it back to the owner, but assuming one wanted to go so far as to file an ejectment (which I probably don't), I assume you can't eject someone from half of a house, or 1/5 of a business, or split it up like that terrific I Love Lucy episode. 

In one of the episodes of the podcast (sorry I can’t think of which one right at this moment) their guest talks about the “3 foot rule”.

I don't know the episode numbers off hand but they are there!

There has been a lot of talk recently about short term rentals in mountain vacation towns (thanks @Avery Carl - but really your episode was awesome) but are there a lot of you who invest in beach towns?
