Pewar can figure out a way to get dollars into classrooms, lower class sizes, improve Chicago's neighborhood high schools (or at least Lakeview HS) keep our parks clean and our streets safe without raising property taxes even higher.

Yes it would be a process, but so will everything else.Other best uses would require more information - does it have street frontage?

@Omar Merced mentioned the Fremont Street area close to downtown.  

We live outside of Michigan, and reading forums online, it seems like the quality of neighborhoods in Detroit change street to street, and block to block on the same street.

I'd offer to help but one street here and there makes a big difference around there and I don't do enough in the city to be able to effectively help you out.Good Luck!

Go drive those streets, and note those subdivisions. 

Neighborhoods vary and street to street can change a lot so use you realtor's advice wisely.

No contract will even touch it because it is such a complex job due to the busy street.
