We are going to be marketing for family tenants, but we've considered the pros and cons of student angle. 

Third, my primary debt (aside from mortgages) is student loans, which is driving up my DTI to the point where it might preclude obtaining a traditional mortgage.  

I have some tenant groups like students that require a little more direction in the application process and I first I thought they were young so maybe they also needed some instruction on the process.

@Jagdish Bajaj  I think it is also worth noting that not all of the faculty, staff, students, administrators, etc. of the Schools and Hospitals in University Circle live or want to live within a 5 mile radius of their respective employer.

Hello my name is James Gleeson and I am an Engineering student at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla MO.

We also started hosting international students to get additional income out of assets we already have (our primary and secondary homes).In terms of flips, because the market here is so hot, margins are pretty thin and the risk has increased.

Obviously, there are complications in this too, as students can, at times, be destructive to a property; however, I doubt they would steal the copper piping or do anything deleterious to that extent (you never know, though). 

My wife did the bidding because it was the first full day of school in August and I'm a 5th grade teacher.
