The trick there is to only fix what you ought to - that's a deadly mistake almost everyone makes to some degree so, never stop considering it - I can't stress that point enough.My advice to you is to buy a duplex in the best physical condition you can afford, in the best neighborhood you can afford, for starters.

I read in an article recently that a lot of private lenders have flexible terms and many will even do JVsfrom my own experience of speaking with private and HM lenders this hasn't been the case. have any more experienced or knowledgeable people here in BP ever done a JV with lenders?

Also, for both of those, the signer has to physically appear (meet in person, not online or over the phone) before a notary, so anyone other than the signer has any of the documents, it can't be legally notarized because the signer didn't physically appear before the notary.

I'm wondering if anyone uses these options or paypal to collect rent and if so has it been something a majority of tenants use or do they still drop off some sort of physical payment?
