@Ben Morand first off this is not meant as an insult, but I think you're at such an introductory stage with hard money research you'd benefit from talking to someone on the phone rather than online.

Two people decided to hold jointly, and one of those people, for whatever reason, be it asset protection, estate planning or otherwise, elected to hold through an LLC.

We also have an election year coming up as well so everything will be over hyped and ultra sensitized.Where I am kids are not going back to school full time for the school year, this is going to have significant impact on people, jobs, families etc. what the shakeout will be we don’t know.Of course time will tell and a lot will depend on govt intervention and if the GSE are working with borrowers.The one thing I think is wrong with this mess is jurisdictions halting foreclosures and evictions for all.
