I transitioned out of the service in 2007 - the VA didn't have any programs, except the GI Bill, which was awful at the time.

I've said before, they took the easy way out hammering seller financing under Dodd-Frank as overkill is always easier than devising special programs to fit the needs of niche borrowers.

They keep calling me to put me in a $20k mentoring program, which was not mentioned at the seminar.

I could have easily gone with particle board melamine, and all mdf doors, but the plywood will be more durable, and less prone to moisture problems, and the hardwood doors will handle wear and tear of my toddler as well.I also am an engineer for a cabinet shop so I can design, program, and cut my on cabinets on a cnc, so I'm a little biased and have a few more choices than most.

Believe me when I say that local assessors are called daily by lenders, bank auditors, and investigators for various government-sponsored programs.

I know of other programs that offer the same service for much less (Epic Fast Funding is one of them, but it's really a referral to another company).
