I still believe there is tons of value to be bought in DC, just have to get creative with how you finance it, and then of course hold for the long term.Good luck with your investing journey 

Currently trying to meet more people and get further in my real estate journey.

I started my RE journey earlier and I've been listening to the BP Rookie podcast religiously (as well as started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad).

There are many little things to look at as the journey begins and it is a real fun one!

I am now looking to start my real estate journey to provide a good life for myself and my wife when we move back to the United States.The areas I am interested in starting are the Lake County/Kenosha areas of Illinois and Wisconsin.

I am super excited to help many investors as I start this journey.

You should be thinking more about where do you want to live your life and then figure out how to incorporate your real estate investing journey into that.

I’ve found many to be scams, especially the ridiculously low priced listings.   2) As you look for a home to live in, know what is most important (strong rental potential, high appreciation, etc.) to you and be ready to make some trade offs. 3) If you’re looking ITP (inside I-285), visit the Atlanta Regional Commission website and the Atlanta Beltline website to gain an understanding of planned development for various areas, ie Westside Park, Westside Trail, transportation, etc)Best of luck and enjoy the journey!!
