New US Investor who currently lives abroad

Hello BP,

My name is Max and I am 28 years old. I am now looking to start my real estate journey to provide a good life for myself and my wife when we move back to the United States.

The areas I am interested in starting are the Lake County/Kenosha areas of Illinois and Wisconsin. My plan is to start with a house hack. This will give me the chance to buy my first property while being able to reconnect with my friends and family who I have not seen for years.

My goals are to be able to create enough cash-flow to provide a good life for my wife and any future children we may have. I want to be able to be involved in their lives and for us to have the ability to travel and have new experiences without being tied down to a 9-5.

A fun fact about myself is that I have been living in China for the last 5 years. It is here where I met my wife and we have had the privilege to travel to different places in South East Asia while I have still been able to save for the future.
