After upgrading the office I would like to know what the new value is especially in case I can get access to a LoC or refi based on the new value.Would a new appraisal cost as much or are there less expensive options since the property is not being sold?

It’s not a high end rental so I have shied away from Windermere so far because the several property managers I have interviewed always encourage a lot of upgrades and price increases that are inappropriate for my neighborhood.Not that it’s a dump!

If you find nice upgraded homes in your area and you find a couple that are rented it could make sense to do some nice upgrades in the kitchen and bathroom.
