Will the title company allow you to do this?

Usually its title and deed package that holds up closing a cash deal, 7-9 days is pretty quick, even for cash (at least in CO and AZ).What was the accepted closing date, or is that still in negotiation (ie. no bank addendums/not under contract)?

I have been told that I cannot get a homepath owner occupancy mortgage with the deed titled to a trust.Is that true?

Mike, These are not lease options, I think I might have overlooked the title to this thread.

I see with some banks they require atleast 6 months of having the title which is kind of long.

Definitely need to look at finding a new title attorney if you are going to continue to conduct owner finance transactions.

Who is responsible for checking title?

The title I was referred to told me they do not allow assignments.
