I'm not saying that it's impossible but one should be realistic about the time it takes to self manage and start up from finding a handyman/maintenance, GOOD cleaners, listing description, professional photos, dynamic pricing, frequently doing the enemy method, channel/booking/auto response managers, business hours, business phone, generating return statements, hiring and training virtual assistants/co hosts (which will expect a fee anyway), background/criminal/credit checks, dealing with tenant questions/demands, reviews.

My 2023 goal is to partner with someone(s)on a ~500-acre village in Tennessee (willing to consider other states if the land is right) by the water consisting of: A-frames, tiny homes, glamping tents, and treehouses complete with amenities I have come across on my travels: zorbing, zip ling, outdoor movie theater complete with stationary classic cars and space for outsiders to bring their vehicles in to park, above ground shipping container pools with see through plexiglass, lake blob, monthly mini burning mans, pool/sand volleyball, outdoor music venue, drone racecourse, 3d print stations, planetarium, and other ideas to get people to "stop the scroll" and provide the most unique experience imaginable.

Safest Taunton Neighborhoods per Neighborhood Scout: 1 Oakland 2 Somerset Ave / Briggs St 3 Whittenton 4 Westville 5 East Taunton 6 Weir Village 7 Longmeadow Rd / Dean St 8 Oak Ave / Kilmer Ave 9 Somerset Ave / Weir St 10 Bay St / Washington StAlso agree with others that Taunton has prices that are much more affordable than other surrounding neighborhoods.
