Politically, if your non-profit is filling a need in providing homes for low and moderate income families and has done anything for the advancement of good will in the community, I doubt you'll find an attorney that would even represent a plantif against a non-profit.You can obtain funding through many different economic development programs from a municipal level all the way up to the national level.
