What are some of the things I should look for, or be aware about when interviewing contractors.

One recommendation from someone you know within the organization will almost always at least land you the interview. - Pass all your classes but don’t kill yourself over grades.

The videos and interviews really have gotten me to thinking of investing my hard earned money differently besides my usual 401k/mutual funds/stocks. 

During your interviews, inform them of your pesonal goals involving real estate and what incentives or assistance they give towards you buying your own home.

I did interview a couple others but was not impressed. 

I love everything about real estate so I make it a point listen to podcasts, read books, watch interviews, attend real estate events, etc but I don't want to get stuck in analysis paralysis so I'm hoping to provide value to the Bigger Pockets Fam and also gain some hands-on experience.
